Instructions for the signer
Have you received an invitation to your email to sign a document digitally? Digitally signed documents are as legally binding as those written with pen and paper. Instead of having to travel to sign the document, you can sign it digitally by identifying yourself via your online banking codes. Signing a document is completely free for you.
Below, you can read the instructions for digital signing.
You have received an e-mail invitation asking you to sign a document. You can recognise the message from the subject line starting with “Invitation to sign…”. Open the message and make note of the password on the message, as you will need it later. Now click on the link in the e-mail message. The link will take you to the signing service.
Please note that the invitation may also be sent via SMS or in two parts: the link via e-mail and password via SMS.
Read the document
You need the password on the invitation to see the document sent to you. Paste the password at the designated field. You can see a preview of the document. If you are using a mobile browser, open the preview by selecting Preview document. When you are ready to sign the document, proceed to the identification.
Identify and sign the document
Enter your personal identity code to the designated field and then use your online banking codes to identify yourself. This way, we can verify your identity. Our service will not use your personal information for any purpose other than identification. After the identification, click Sign.
After the identification, you can download the document. You will also receive the signed document via e-mail.
Once you have registered for the service for free, you can view all documents you have signed digitally. The documents are safe in our digital archive, and you will not need to store them in your e-mail inbox. Registration is completely free and will not bind you in any way. Read more about using the service on the instructions site.
